#Challenge40 for Big C
Get fit and help Big C continue to care for local people affected by cancer. We know right now that we are living in uncertain and changing times, and in accordance with Government advice many of our planned spring and summer fundraising events have had to be postponed. Therefore, we set up #Challenge40 as a way to have fun and stay active, while raising funds to continue supporting the work of Big C.
Are you ready to take on a challenge to help us celebrate our 40th anniversary?
This April, we’ve launched #Challenge40 – a way to keep active by doing forty minutes of exercise everyday for forty days while supporting those locally affected by cancer.
Your forty minutes of exercise could be anything – a daily run or walk, some at-home exercise routines, or simply getting active by doing some gardening – you decide how you’re going to stay active each day.
Getting involved is easy to do, all you have to do is:
- Sign up below by paying the £10 registration
- If you would like to, set up a fundraising page (here) and encourage your friends and family to donate to your efforts
- Share with us what activity (or activities) you plan to do for the next forty days, including photos, by tagging us on social media and using our #Challenge40 hashtag
- Get active and have fun!
- When completed, we’ll send you out a shiny winners medal!
All funds donated will help Big C continue to provide vital care and support for people affected by cancer, during these challenging times.
We want to ensure everyone stays safe, so we would ask you to follow Government guidelines around social distancing, and only go out once a day (if permitted) to do your 40 minutes of exercise. More information can be found here – https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.
