The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6 km) and includes 5200ft (1585m) of ascent.
The challenge takes on the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough with the aim to complete all 3 in under 12 hours.
These peaks form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
