Bry’s 1st Half Marathon – Raising Money for the Big C
My Dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the end of 2018. Dad is incredibly active (he normally cycles 100 miles a week!), so the diagnosis came as a huge shock, and it has meant he has had to have time away from his bike. I can happily say that Dad has smacked cancer right in the face, and has come out the other side. This is all thanks to the amazing work of the NHS and James Paget Hospital, and through Dad's sheer determination and strength.
Dad has participated in several local cycling events raising money for the Big C. Whilst he is recovering and out of two-wheel action, I would like to be able to give something back to the Big C with the help of you lovely lot!
Any pennies you might have kicking about would be gratefully received :-) Thank you guys.Donate to this page
What I’m doing:
Colchester Half Marathon on Sunday 24th March 2019
Why I’m fundraising:
For the challenge and to hopefully raise a lot of cash for the Big C. This is a pretty big challenge for me - the longest race I have ever ran is a 10K. It would be great to have some sponsorship behind me to encourage my training and make the race day really special.
