Big C Dog Calendar Competition

Competition DESCRIPTION: The BIG C Calendar submission.

The sponsor of this competition is Wag-IT, Toni Milliken, Designtec, Loveday & Partners, Hoggies, Gilson Bailey, Andrew Arboriculture, Premier Marble, Shergroup. By participating in the competition, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these official rules and the decisions of sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. JBS Dog Photography is responsible for the collection, submission or processing of Entries and the overall administration of the competition. Entrants should look solely to JBS Dog Photography with any questions, comments or problems related to the Competition. JBS Dog Photography may be reached by email at during the competition period.

ELIGIBILITY: Sponsors, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (the ‘Promotion Entities’), are ineligible to enter the competition or win. household members and immediate family members of such individuals are also not eligible to enter or win. ‘Household members’ shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year. ‘Immediate family members’ shall mean parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. Big C staff & volunteers are allowed to enter, winners will be picked anonymously.

HOW TO ENTER: Enter the competition during the promotion period online by visiting the entry form, which can be found on the following website at Automated or robotic entries submitted by individuals or organisations will be disqualified. Internet entry must be made by the entrant. Any attempt by entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All entries must be posted by the end of the promotion period in order to participate. Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this sweepstakes.


WINNER SELECTION: The 4 selected entrants will be chosen by Big C and the dog with the most Facebook and Instagram likes will be announced.

The 4 selected dogs will be invited to JBS Dog Photography Studio in Swaffham to have their dogs photographed by JBS Professional Photograohers. The edited image will be used for the public vote on the socials and the dog with the most votes will be printed in the 2023 Calendar. The cost of the professional picture will be £40 and the dog owner will receive a digital copy of the image.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: The four selected dog owners will be notified by email at the email address provided in the entry information. 

The owner of the dog selected for the calendar will be notified by email at the email address provided.

JBS Dog Photography is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or Winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account.

PRIVACY: Any personal information supplied by you will be subject to the privacy policyof JBS Dog Photography

LIMITATION of LIABILITY: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless JBS Dog Photography and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries.
