Very few families in our community are untouched by this dreadful disease and we are delighted to support Big C in all that they do to provide outstanding quality of cancer care for local people.

At Loveday and Partners Independent Financial Planners, we believe it’s an important duty of any businesses to support the local communities around them. It’s certainly part of our culture and we are proud to have supported so many charities over the years, helping people when they’ve needed it most.

This year is no exception as we are proud to be the headline sponsor for Norfolk Show Ball, where funds raised on the evening will go to local cancer charity Big C.
We were keen to be involved with the Norfolk Show Ball having attended in previous years and when, as part of our enquiries, we were told Big C was the chosen beneficiary, we were thrilled. In our line of work, we build very close relationships with our clients and so we hear all too often how cancer affects people’s lives.

The proceeds from the ball will go towards a new Big C Community Centre in Norwich, helping more people when they need support the most.

The Big C Centres provide free, practical information and emotional support to anyone affected by cancer, whether that’s a partner, family member, friend or colleague.

Every year around 8,000 people are diagnosed with some form of the disease across Norfolk and Waveney and last year the Big C Centres saw more than 26,000 visits from those seeking support. Your support at the ball this year will make a direct difference to the lives of local people affected by cancer.

As well as the Centres, since the charity was founded in 1980, support and fundraising by the local community has helped to invest more than £12.5 million into local cancer research and hospital equipment. This means that diagnosis and treatment can happen right here.

Very few families in our community are untouched by this dreadful disease and we are delighted to support Big C in all that they do to provide outstanding quality of cancer care for local people.

We are really looking forward to what has been – for many years – the pinnacle of the county’s social calendar and we invite you to join us in supporting Big C by being part of this event.

The 2018 Norfolk Show Ball will be held at the Norfolk Showground on Friday, June 22. Tickets are now on sale at www.norfolkshow.big-c.co.uk. Everyone is welcome, whether you want to book a whole table or just a couple of tickets. It’s always an entertaining evening while raising lots of money for charity.
