In memory of Anita Utting
Mum sadly passed away on 27th February 2013 aged 86, six weeks after being diagnosed with advanced cancer through her liver and lungs. Although it was a shock to us both, it made sense of all the various symptoms that appeared in recent times such as very marked weight loss, vocal problems and a pronounced loss of appetite.
Mum worked as a State Registered Nurse in Malaysia during the 1950s and 1960s and would have attended to cancer patients herself, little knowing that it would affect her one day.
I've set up this fund in her memory as a tribute not only to a loving mother, but also for all the staff who cared for Mum through her last few weeks. Truly special people and I long for the day when this wicked disease is finally conquered.
Please help in any way you can - I can assure you that anything you can spare would be very much appreciated by so many.
