In memory of Colin Smith
This fund has been set up in memory of my dad, Colin Smith. Although he did not die of cancer, he did 3 years ago get diagnosed with prostrate cancer, and through a 6 month battle, got cleared. This was a very agonising time for all of us, my dad had to take near enough a year off work and me and my mum were taking it in turns to take my dad for his radiotherapy at the Norfolk and Norwich. However after battling his cancer, he later died of a massive heart attack when he returned to work.
Me and my mum would like to say a big thank you to the boys offshore for donating a massive £1,000 to this fund, as we only had family flowers at the funeral and donations to Big C. Thanks to the putford boats for taking flowers out to sea for us on my dad’s 1st anniversary and making it very special for us.
Big thanks to Tracey Garland (Area Manager of McColls, the company me and my mum work for) for donating 3 bottles of wine and 3 bars of chocolate for our christmas raffle.
Another big thanks to Lee Catton and Jim Landamore (Staff at AJS, the offshore company my dad worked for) for donating a hamper for the christmas raffle. Which we managed to raise £500 from.
Thanks again to every single person who has at some point made it possible for us to raise so much money, we really appreciate it. Xx
